Fine Wine is coming along nicely.  I was surprised at how much is stitched when I took it off the hoop!

 

A Halloween Finish

 Halloween Tree designed by Mary Waldsmith from the September 2020 Needle Arts magazine.

I have stitched two other whimsical trees that this designer has done, and they are all so very fun!

October Stitch of the Month

The October part of the ANG Stitch of the Month was released on October 1st, so I had to stitch it right away.  Only two more parts to be released and this baby will be finished!

I stitched this ornament by Debby Rowley  The only change I made was adding gold beads instead of gold french knots.

One Nation Framed

Picked this beauty up from being framed yesterday!

One Nation by ByGone Stitches.  Stitched on 25 count blue Lugana over one fabric thread with one strand of floss.  Started July 4, 2019, finished January 6, 2020, 204 hours of stitching.

A Leaf

This was a project for our EGA Chapter, Needle's Nest.  I think I will stitch another leaf but reverse it so I can attach them back to back before attaching it to the cookie cutter......

Another HUM Finish

 Finished up the Diagonal Stitch Sampler a little while ago.  It is also a HUM project from ANG.  This was done on congress cloth with #8 perle cotton.

Straight Sampler Finish

 Finished this little sampler the other day, It is a HUM project from the ANG website.  I stitched this on congress cloth with 8 perle cotton from my stash.

A Quick Finish

I stitched up this little piece that will eventually become a scissor fob to match the All American Frame Weight

Sunday Finish

This morning I finished the stitching on the All American Frame Weight by Margaret Bendig.  This is a project our ANG chapter is doing, and we will be finishing it in December.

Stitch of the Month Part 9

Just finished Part 9 of the Stitch of the Month.  only 3 more parts to go!

And we have a Finish!

I stitched part 9 of the 25th Anniversary Band Sampler, and since that was the final installment, it is finished!!!!!

Here it is in it's glory!  I need some bell pull hardware next time I go to Welcome Stitchery!

August Progress and September Goals

August could have been better, this pandemic is really getting to me!  I didn't get in as much stitching time as I would have liked.  I had two finishes, the August SOTM and Part 8 of the Anniversary Band Sampler.  My main focus was Fine Wine, and I did make great progress on that piece, but am still only about half done.  Hopefully September will be even better

Happy Birthday John!

Today is John's birthday.  We actually celebrated early because he had surgery yesterday on his lip.  Here he is with his favorite cake, a spice cake that was his great-great-great grandmother's recipe.  No other cake will do!

WIP Wednesday 8-26-2020

I made good progress on this piece this past week.  A little more than half way done, but going faster than the first have with over 1 skin that had to be frogged!

Needleworker's Sampler Framed
