Ta Da! One More June Finish!

Here it is!  Needleworker's Sampler by Sue Hillis!  It took 48 hours to stitch (spread over 13 days) and it was fun!  I did make some changes, Sue charted it with Ecru Perle #8 for the border and 4 of the squares, but I used stranded Ecru DMC, 3 strands for the rice stitch, 2 strands for the sheath stitches and the border.  I used Perle #12 for the open eyelets and Perle #8 for pulled variation satin stitch. 

I am happy with it, and it will be going to the framer one day!

Part 6 Finished

I finished Part 6 of the Anniversary Band Sampler.  I did find out that I can't spell, and add that to not being able to count, I spent more time frogging than stitching....

The new free series from Handblessings Designs is Cute Little Ugly Sweaters.  I finished the first 3, and am waiting for the rest to be released.  Some may end up being ornaments for the grandchildren!

Sorry that I haven't been posting as much, but I was busy finishing the stitching on all of my Maynia starts!  Here are 3 Gingerbread people.  I have actually stitched two of them before to give to my grandchildren for Christmas, but now these are for me!

Stitch of Month - June Finished

 I stitched up the June section of the Stitch of the Month today.  I went rather quickly, but it is all various sizes of the waffle stitch, and I just finished a border of 64 waffle stitches of the Spring Quilt Block a few days ago, so I am tired of doing waffle stitches.

WIP Wednesday 6-3-2020

It's Wednesday again!  Today I started to work on part 5 of the Spring Quilt Block, and finished it!  Only one more part to go....the last border. That one is a waffle stitch, and will take forever.....

Yesterday, Debbi Rowley added the first of 3 borders to her Spring Quilt Block chart, so I had to stitch it right away.  Only two more borders and it will be finished!

May Progress and June Goals

Well, here we are, a brand new month!  Looking back, I think Stitch Maynia was a success! I had 31 new starts, one for each day of the month, and finished 16 of those starts.  I stitched for 160 hours in May.  Not too bad!  Here's to more finishes in June!
