...in a Pear Tree....


I finished the second ornament in the 2010 series by Little House Needleworks.
I wasn't fond of the chart and stitched it only because it was part of the series, but once I was about half way finished, I found myself liking it. I am very pleased with how it turned out, and I actually like it! It looks much better all stitched in person, than the photo on the leaflet.

I like it, too ... but then, I have always liked any of the partridge in a pear tree variations ... even the zany ones like Sue Hillis' "A Pair Tree".

I am sure this ornament will look lovely, finished and hanging on your tree.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that they *always* seem to look better in person. This one is very sweet. I love references to the 12 days of Christmas. Nice finish!
