Below is the entire piece so far. I am stitching this on 40 count Newcastle linen, over 2 fabric threads with 1 strand of the recommended floss. It is still going to be bigger than I expected......I can't imagine stitching this one 28 count over 2, it would be huge!

Beautiful stitching. I love owls and have all of the patterns for this SAL and can't wait until I get to the owls for September.
