And the WISP List Gets Shorter.....

I started this piece in March of 2009, and only finished the iris part.  I don't know why I was affraid of doing the background, it really wasn't that hard.  I was affraid of miscounting and having it come out wrong but here it is, all correct and finished!!  It is very sparkly in person, sorry I couldn't get a better picture.

This is Crystal Iris by From Nancy's Needle.  I have the companion piece, Crystal Violets,  in my to-do mountain also.  Once I get that pieced stitched, I will decide on how to finish them.

That reminds me of irises I stitched a few years ago in long stitch - wonder where it is?! Maybe I should find it and hang it somewhere. Thanks for the reminder, lol.

Very pretty ... I look forward to seeing the violets [one of my favorite flowers] ... though if your to-do mountain is anything like mine, it could be long wait.
