Oklahoma, Here I Come!

I am going to be in Tulsa, OK from Thursday through Sunday to attend a folk dance workshop, and plan to visit the Silver Needle and Stitchworks on Friday morning.

LoriRay and Sharon (Daffy Cat) are both going to be out of town, how's that for timing! I would love some recommendations on what to do and see while I am there.

If any blog readers have any suggestions, please e-mail me. My e-mail address is in my profile.

Seeing as I am from the Great State of Texas and we have a propensity to have differing opinions north of the Red River...speaking of which...you know what keeps Texas from falling into the Gulf of Mexico don't you? Because Oklahoma Sucks!..Oh nevermind. I hear Tulsa has some good oil pump jacks! Shhhh don't tell but I think the area south of Tulsa is the prettiest part of the state.

Check out Stitches, a needlepoint and yarn shop in Tulsa not to far from the Silver Needle. They carry several great lines of threads, like Caron and all kinds of silks. The best part is that they are really nice to work with. Have fun CJ ok;-)

It really sucks we are going away when you are coming so close! That would have totally rocked to get to visit with you! I hope you have a great time on your trip!

Have a great time, the silver needle is worth the trip! I've not been anywhere in Tulsa, except there.
