Rocky Mountain Christmas update
Here it is at 90 hours. I did 1227 stitches this 10 hour session, and have done a total of 11,180 stitches so far. I did a lot of white, grey, light blue and lilac snow this time, so it doesn't show up too well. I am still 50 hours behind schedule, but don't have time to catch up right now. Watch this space for future updates.

How do you keep track of how many stitches you do? It's not like you can have a pedometer for your fingers, is there?
I count them, silly!
Although a pedometer on finger sounds like it might work.....
do you ever lose track of counting, and get to like 1017 and can't remember if you were on 97 or 1017 or 2077??? Do you stitch when others are around? If so, do people ever start rattling off random numbers?
:) I am impressed, tho. :)
I like the digitometer idea....hmmm.....any inventors out there??
Gorgeous. Can't wait to see the finished product!
Eva I think your project is fantastic - how long did it take you to "square" your fabric?, and what a great guide for such a large piece. Are you stitching anything else at the same time?
That is going to be beautiful when done and worth all the work. I don't think I would count each stitch I made either. I do keep track of the hours though. Great job on your piece.
Eva your RMC is gorgeous!! I also appreciate the time it took for your gridding. I just finished gridding a project and it took a week!! Dh bought me RMC last Christmas, and thinks I can just whip it up lol! lets just say it is in the lower part of the ToDo pile. thanks for posting your progression , I love looking at it. It is very inspiring.
