An Ornament all stitched

I received this ornament kit at this year's ANG (American Needlepoint Guild) Holiday Dinner.  It was designed by Eileen Gurak of Handblessings Designs.  I finished the stitching on it today. It is done on hand painted congress cloth with various fibres.

6 Snow Belles Week 15

Here are the gals after this week's stitching.  Since Monday was Christmas Eve, I stitched on them on Wednesday this week, which was a day off for me.

4 snowmen ornaments

I stitched 6 of these snowman ornaments this year, and each one was finished differently.  I gave two away before I took a picture, but they were cute too.  These 4 four are one for each of my 4 children.

Merry Christmas!

These are the ornaments stitched for my sweet grandchildren this year.  Since they are staying with me for awhile, the ornaments are hanging on my tree, but they will go home with them to their new house once it is ready.

This first one is for Logan, aged 3 1/2 who just loves trains.  The chart is by Ellen Maurer-Stroh, from one of the free baby books on her site, stitched on 32 count antique white Lugana with DMC floss.

The second ornament is for Natalie, aged 18 months.  She just loves all the rubber duckies in the bathtub, but also like to bite off their beaks!

This chart is also by Ellen Maurer-Stroh from a different baby book on her site and was also stitch on 32 count antique white Lugana with DMC floss

6 Snow Belles Week 14

Good progress this wek.  I finished the snowflakes at the top and got a good start on the 4th chart - Ice Queen.

6 Snow Belles Week 13

Here is my progress thus far on the 6 snow belles.  This week's stitching was on the center section and a start to the top snowflakes.  Next week, I hope to start on Ice Queen (I think that's what the next chart is called)

6 Snow Belles Week 12

Three charts now done!  This one wasn't hard, but with everything else going on in my life, it was hard concentrating, therefore, lots of reverse stitching had to be done.

November Progress, December Goals

November wasn't a good stitching month, and December isn't looking good either.  I've been rather busy with life, but did manage a little bit of stitching.  Hopefully I can manage just a bit more in December.
