Afghan Progress

I finally got a chance to get back to the Northwoods afghan, and stitched the moose square.

I have 4 squares stitched so far, and hope to get a lot more done on it over the winter months. Hopefully, it will be done for Jonathan's birthday in May.

It is being stitched on a 18 count beige Proud Pine afghan, over two threads with 4 strands of DMC floss, backstitched with 2 strands of floss.

Here is the afghan so far, with 4 squares stitched.

That is truly lovely ... you inspie me to pull out an afghan I started a long while ago ... using a Jacobean floral pattern from a stitching magazine way back in the 90's ... it's amazing how I can let UFO's [even really intriguing ones] languish in a drawer ... it's just that there is so much to stitch and so little time in which to do it. I am looking forward to retirement in a few years ... maybe then, I'll catch up with my own stash.
