Sunflower Finish

This lovely sunflower was designed by Eileen Gurak of Handblessings Designs.  It was a gift at our recent ANG Luncheon.  It stitched up quickly.  I understand Eileen will be doing more flowers in a series.

 

Christmas Banner Finish

 
 I finished the Christmas Banner by Nancy Cucci today.  It was fun to stitch!  I don't know how I will "finish" it, I have other banners that also need to be finished....it will go on the finishing pile

 

First Finish of 2021

This is the Blue Ornament that was a favor at our ANG Chapter Holiday Party.  It took way longer to stitch than it should have, but it is now done.  It was designed by Marguerite Harrington.  

A Finish!

 I finished the last section of the 2020 ANG Stitch of the Month Project.  I am almost sad that it is over!  It was fun to stitch but hard to wait for the next installment!

I am not quite sure what to do with it now.  Should I frame it or make it into a pillow?

A Halloween Finish

I have stitched two other whimsical trees that this designer has done, and they are all so very fun!

October Stitch of the Month

The October part of the ANG Stitch of the Month was released on October 1st, so I had to stitch it right away.  Only two more parts to be released and this baby will be finished!
 

Ornament Finish

I stitched this ornament by Debby Rowley  The only change I made was adding gold beads instead of gold french knots.

Another HUM Finish

 Finished up the Diagonal Stitch Sampler a little while ago.  It is also a HUM project from ANG.  This was done on congress cloth with #8 perle cotton.

Straight Sampler Finish

 Finished this little sampler the other day, It is a HUM project from the ANG website.  I stitched this on congress cloth with 8 perle cotton from my stash.

A Quick Finish

I stitched up this little piece that will eventually become a scissor fob to match the All American Frame Weight

Sunday Finish

This morning I finished the stitching on the All American Frame Weight by Margaret Bendig.  This is a project our ANG chapter is doing, and we will be finishing it in December.

Stitch Maynia Day 19 and a Finish!

On Day 19 I started and finished this heart on canvas.  This is the 3rd Hospice Heart that I have stitched this year.  It is a Fox Chapter ANG project for children who have lost a parent or sibling to cancer.  The hearts are given out at a camp in the summer and fall.  Don't know if the camps will happen, but if they are suspended for this year, they will be given out next year.

Stitch Maynia Day 10 & a Finish!

Even though I still have some Gingerbread People to stitch, I needed a change of pace.  I started a canvas piece on Day 10, Portland Revisited.

It was fun to stitch, with lots of different stitches and fibres, and in no time at all, it was finished!
I have no idea what I will do with it, perhaps make it into an ornament.

This is a free chart from ANG (American Needlepoint Guild).  It is one of their HUM projects, (Holed Up Minis).  They post a new one every Sunday.  This was the very first one they posted.  Our Chapter is stitching it together this month.

One More February Finish

I finished Circle of Hearts by Margaret Bendig this evening.  It truly was a fun stitch!  I just loved doin those hearts!

This will be an ornament some day.

Another Stitching Finish

This is the beaded sampler I was working on, but I ran out of beads, so I had to wait until I picked up some more....then I spilled them all....then I had to gather them up off the floor....and it is finally stitched.

Our ANG Chapter is giving incentive point and a charm for doing some beading.  I needed 5 more stitches to earn the charm so I finished them in the knick of time.

This will become an ornament someday.....

Finally finished

When you lasts saw this piece I was waiting for the fibres to finish the stitching.....that was Sunday.  I ordered the fibres on Monday morning and asked that they be mailed out to me right away.  I should have them by Wednesday at the latest...right?   Well, I found out Wednesday that they hadn't been mailed yet.  I don't know why.  I jumped in the car and drove the 45 minutes in each direction to pick them up myself.

And when I got home, I saw down and finished the stitching.

Ornamentification will happen at a later date.
