6 Snow Belles, Week 19, Finished!

Since I had Monday off, and my car didn't start, I had lots of time to stitch.  I managed to finish Frosty Friends and Blizzard Babe, thus completing the piece.  It took a total of 19 Mondays (73 hours of stitching).

I will miss spending my Monday's with the gals, just as I missed spending them with the boys in 6 Fat Men.  I looked back and found that it took me 19 weeks to finish the boys also.

Now that they are both completed, all I have to do is wait for the framing sale at Welcome Stitchery in May to have them framed.

6 Snow Belles Week 18

No new start on Monday, but great progress.  I finishes the "border" part and made great progress on Frosty Friends.  I really, really want to be finished with this.

Crazy January Challenge Day 7, Snow Belles Week 17

 For my Crazy January Challenge (this is start # 8 in case you are keeping track) I chose Blizzard Babe, the last of the charts for the 6 Snow Belles, thus killing two birds with one stone so to speak.

Since it is a Monday, I stitch on the 6 Snow Belles, and here is the entire piece so far.  The end is in site.  Just a few more weeks and it will be finished!

6 Snow Belles Week 15

Here are the gals after this week's stitching.  Since Monday was Christmas Eve, I stitched on them on Wednesday this week, which was a day off for me. 

6 Snow Belles Week 14

Good progress this wek.  I finished the snowflakes at the top and got a good start on the 4th chart - Ice Queen.

6 Snow Belles Week 13

Here is my progress thus far on the 6 snow belles.  This week's stitching was on the center section and a start to the top snowflakes.  Next week, I hope to start on Ice Queen (I think that's what the next chart is called)

6 Snow Belles Week 12

Three charts now done!  This one wasn't hard, but with everything else going on in my life, it was hard concentrating, therefore, lots of reverse stitching had to be done. 

6 Snow Belles Weeks 9, 10 and 11

Not too much progress the last three weeks, but lots of frogging!  First I used the wrong color floss for some lettering then I was a thread off! 

6 Snow Belles Week 8

I finally feel like I am making progress on this piece!  I finished the second chart, Ready for Snow this week and started the third chart. 

6 Snow Belles Week 5

Week 5 brings more progress!  All Dressed Up is finished and I got in a good start on Ready for Snow!

I have been doing some other stitching, but no finishes at the moment.  Soon, I hope!

6 Snow Belles Week 4

Definately a bit more progress this time!  I hope to finish it before the end of the month!

6 Snow Belles Week 3

Progress is rather slow, but at least there is some progress. 

6 Snow Belles Week 2

A little bit of progress!  The fabric is actually a bit more raspberry-ish in person.  It is 30 count linen by Thead Gatherers.  No color name, and it has been discontinued.  I found this while I was traveling in Michigan recently and stopped in at Stitching Bits and Bobs.

6 Snow Belles Week 1

Although I only have the first three charts, I did find some fabric so I decided to make a start on the Snow Belles charts.  Here is how it will look when it is finished, sort of.  Imagine different fabric. 

The same rules will apply that were used when I did the 6 Fat Men.  I will stitch on this piece every Monday and post pictures weekly so that you can see my progress.

Not too much stitching, but it is a start.  I look forward to spend my Mondays with these lovely ladies.
