Two Finished Finishes....

Here's how I finished both Lavender Hill pieces....Lavendar Hill is a chart by Little House Needleworks.  I attached the stitching to a lavender huswife by Impie, Hattie and Bea.  I added purple scissors and purple floss and a few needles and gave one to Marguerite for her birthday since purple is her favorite color.  
The second one is for me!

Ok, not being much of a "finisher", I have a stupid question for you. It looks like you have folded over the edges on the stitched piece (on the cover), but how is that attached to the cover fabric?

Kay, First I folded the edges over, then stitched them down with invisible thread, then ironed on interfacing, then stitched the entire thing to the fabric pocket with invisible thread. I know, it's a pain to work with, but the results are so nice. I found a tutorial on Impie Hattie and Bea's website or blog, I don't quite remember which.
