It was a quick stitch, and I finished the stitching and "finished" it this evening.
In case you hadn't heard, Nancy is retiring from retails sales and is closing her shop, The Needle and I, which is in Rockford. I will miss that shop. I didn't make it there more than once or twice a year, but she always had some great sales, and usually had the fibres I needed and couldn't find elsewhere. Nancy will continue designing and selling her designs on the internet.

We stopped off at Needle & I on the way to the Dells at the end of April. I always try to stop there when I'm on the way to MN of WI. A day or two later, I found out about the retirement / closing. Will miss that store :(
